Before & After

Cropping and Tilt:

The first and most basic thing that can be done with an image is to improve its harmony and visual appeal through cropping and tilt correction. These techniques are essential for various reasons. For example, they can be used to adjust an image that was accidentally captured with an unwanted tilt. They are also useful for removing parts of the photograph that may interfere with the overall composition, distracting from the main subject or scene. These simple adjustments can significantly transform an image, making it more impactful and focused on its message.

Color Manipulation:

In the color editing of an image, various modifications can be made, such as adjusting the exposure to alter brightness, manipulating contrast to highlight differences between light and dark areas, and modifying saturation to intensify or soften colors. Adjusting the white balance is also essential to ensure realistic colors that suit the scene's lighting. Each of these adjustments significantly contributes to the aesthetics and visual impact of the photograph, allowing the editor to enhance the visual narrative and atmosphere of the image.

A simple way to summarize this is: Colors should be combined to form a deep scene that invites the observer to focus on every detail and each tone change in the scene.

Even More Adjustments:

Beyond basic adjustments, digital photography offers a range of more advanced possibilities, such as curve editing, adding grain, adjusting sharpness, and noise correction. These elements, among many others that can be appreciated in my images, are key tools for transforming simple photographs into lively scenes. My goal in editing is to convey specific sensations, capturing the viewer's attention and making them want to contemplate the image longer, immersing themselves in the pleasant visual experience it offers.

Message To The Observer:

The beauty of a photo is discerned within the first fraction of a second of viewing it, during which we observe the colors and their arrangement, thus creating an instant impression. This swift evaluation reflects how visual elements and color composition immediately impact our emotions and perceptions.

What I aim for with my photographs is precisely that: to make the observer feel the need to pause, if only for a few seconds, to appreciate every detail that the scene offers to them. I don't expect this to happen with every photo in my portfolio, as I understand that it doesn't work that way. Each person's attention is captured by different colors, combinations, and types of settings.
